Hi I'm Chera (pronounced, "Share -Ah")! I'm an award winning self-taught chef and baker that has been free of gluten since 2010 after a mis-diagnosis of Celiac Disease! I'm here for the purpose of providing healthy and tasty GLUTEN FREE breads, pizza doughs, and pastries! If you didn't see "gluten free" on the packaging, you'd never know it's free of gluten and additives.

About Me

Widowed, begin entering recipe and cooking contests in 2010, traveled across the US to compete in cook-off's, left corporate America to care for my late husband. I'm a native Austinite and decided to move to New Braunfels to grieve and start over. I found baking after being invited to compete on a pizza show in LA. From there I began crafting gluten free pizza and bread dough. It wasn't long after that I was invited to compete on the Silos Baking Competition in Waco! All of my experiences in the competitive cooking world have been amazing! I've met wonderful people, some are now lifelong friends! Unfortunately, I had to take a break from baking and competing due to a back and hip injury! HOWEVER, I'm on the mend and will open Rising Dough Co. in late August or early September 2024)!
